Dear visitors,
The Evangelist Saint Matthew notes that at the moment of Jesus’ death, “the earth quaked” (27:51), and that at the moment of his resurrection, “there was a great earthquake” (28:2).
This implies, in a spiritual sense, that both the Lord’s death and his resurrection are so powerful that they cause “earthquakes in the soul.”
May the Lord’s Easter this year as well bring about many such earthquakes: the earthquake that brings about the death of the old man and the earthquake that clothes us in Christ, the “new man.”
I accompany this wish with the celebration of Holy Mass, with remembrance in prayer, and with the grace-filled Easter blessing.
