John the Baptist, announcing the coming of Jesus, said: “he will baptize you with the holy Spirit” (Mark 1:8).
The Holy Spirit is the holy love of God.
Jesus comes to give us what we all most urgently need: a holy love.
We need a holy love to continually increase our fervor and attraction to the Lord.
We need a holy love to love one another with a love that transcends misunderstandings, arguments, and offenses. Only with a holy love can we love one another better and establish peace in our families, in our communities, and in all of humanity.
Father Angelo invokes it with all his heart for each of our dearest visitors, especially for the tireless webmaster of our website Pasquale and for all our invaluable volunteers.
He invokes it from now on in his daily prayers and will invoke it in a special way on Christmas night.
His blessing, given in the name of God and through the intercession of the Blessed Virgin, is undoubtedly accompanied by the infusion of this holy love into the hearts of all of you.
